Open Mic Thursdays

Each Thursday at 7pm, the Mediator Fellowship becomes the Mediator Stage, host to an open mic event of live music and performance. A far cry from the seedy bars and noisy chatter of cafés, the Stage is a listening room fashioned for the sole purpose of providing an intimate space where performers can be received with appreciation and respect. The Stage is a place where the performers and the audience come together, and there’s always great local musicians to be heard. In fact, you could be one of them! Starting at 7pm, anyone can sign up for a slot to perform. Musicians are welcome to play covers or original material, and the Stage has several pianos, a drum set and a PA system for use. The Stage is open to other performance types as well — poets and spoken word artists, comedians, mimes, sword-swallowers — anyone can get up and do their thing.  ✨
