While attendance and participation in the forum and all activities do not require any membership, people who become official members are eligible to vote on decisions at annual and special meetings.

How to Become a Member

  • Attend the forum and get to know other members.
  • Sign the mailing list book with your name, address and phone number.
  • Support the Mediator either financially or by sponsoring programs, helping with chores or activities, etc.
  • Indicate your desire for membership at the forum and state your support and compliance with the Mediator’s Statement of Purpose, the Mediator Constitution and the authority of the Mediator Board of Members.
  • At the next forum, your application will be discussed. If approved, you will be invited to attend a ceremony to sign the Constitution, bylaws and relevant Board provisions.
  • Tah dah! You’re a member! Now you’re eligible to vote on certain official decisions!
